Jude Helliker

Director - People and Development

Jude Helliker is the Director of People and Development. Her portfolio consists of the following business areas:

  • People, Health and Wellbeing
  • Strategic Workforce Planning
  • Recruitment, Selection and Promotion
  • Training and Development
  • Leadership and Talent
  • Employee Relations and Reward
  • People Engagement Partnering

She is also the Senior Responsible Officer for Staff Pay and Reward Modernisation and the Strategic Workforce Plan.

Director Helliker began her career in policing in 1995 with Thames Valley Police and has held roles as Head of Human Resources with Warwickshire Police and Tourism Ireland.

She also spent 11 years at National Museums Northern Ireland where she was Director of People and Performance.

She joined Police Scotland as Director of People and Development in 2017 from the Police Service of Northern Ireland, where she had been Head of Human Resources.
