Community Policing Inspector Stewart McColm
Inspector Stewart McColm is the Community Inspector for Galloway Area Command. He is responsible for the community teams in Wigtownshire and the Stewartry.

Mid Galloway and Wigtown West
This ward covers Stranraer Central, Stranraer East, Drummore, Port Logan, Sandhead, Stoneykirk, Lochans, Cairnryan, Castle Kennedy, Dunragit, New Luce and Glenluce delivering services of community and response policing.
Port William which is also in this ward is covered by the Mid Galloway Community Policing Team based at Newton Stewart.

Your Wigtownshire Policing Team is led by Sergeant Niall Scott based at Stranraer Police Station. Constables Mark McFern, Gayle Allison, Clark Logie and Siobhan Pellet are the dedicated area community officers based at Stranraer.
Our Secondary School Campus Officer is Constable William Boyce at Stranraer Academy.
Further support is provided by Constable Nicola Wilson of the Anti-social Behaviour team based in Stranraer.
There is also a wider Operational Policing team to respond to immediate emergencies and ongoing incidents throughout the area.
