Published 21 May 2018

Were you in Aberdeen's Duthie Park last week? Can you help?

Officers in Aberdeen are continuing to carry out enquiries after receiving a report of a male acting suspiciously within the park last week.

We received a report of a young male aged between 16 and 20 approaching and speaking to a woman at about 9am on Monday morning (May 14, 2018) after he entered the park via the Polmuir Road entrance.

He is described as being white, about 5ft 9 in height, of a proportionate build with short brown hair. He was wearing a grey T-shirt, black shorts, black knee length socks and black training shoes. He possibly exited onto Great Southern Road

Detective Sergeant Rhona Di Meola, of North East Division CID, said: "The woman was left shaken after this experience and quite rightly contacted the Police. We are keen to trace this male as soon as possible therefore I would ask anyone who saw the male in or around the park or recognises him from the description to please get in touch as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference CF0113970518 or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
