Drugs recovery on M74, near Larkhall

Around 1230 hours on Sunday 31 December 2017, officers from the Divisional Road Policing Unit based at Motherwell stopped a vehicle on the M74 near Larkhall and recovered a quantity of drugs, believed to be Cannabis, with an estimated street value of one hundred and sixty thousand pounds (£160,000).

 

A 45 year-old man was arrested and detained in police custody in connection with the recovery.

 

A full report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
