Church vandalised in Tinwald

Officers are seeking the help of the public in relation to a vandalism at Tinwald Parish Church.

Sometime between 5.30pm on Saturday 17th, and 8.30am on Sunday 18th February, two stained glass windows at Tinwald Parish Church were smashed. No entry was gained to the church.

Constable Simon Gleave said, "The church sits on its own and we have carried our door to door enquiries in the surrounding area. It is unbelievable that someone would want cause damage to a church and we are asking for anyone who might have any information which might help us catch those responsible for this mindless vandalism to call us on the 101 number, quoting the reference PDG 0035400218."
