Serious assault in Abercromby Street, Glasgow

Serious-Assault Abercromby StPolice Scotland has released a CCTV image of a male officers would like to speak to as part of ongoing enquiries into a serious assault in the Calton area of Glasgow.

Around 9am on Sunday 18th of February, a 29-year-old man was seriously assaulted on Abercromby Street near to Millroad Street. The man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and suffered severe facial injuries which required further treatment before he was released.

Detectives believe the male in the image was in the company of two other males at the time of the incident. He may have information which could assist their investigation and would appeal to him or anyone who recognises him to contact police.

The male is in his twenties, white, with short dark hair which is cropped at the sides, wearing a green quilted jacket and grey jogging bottoms. He has a Glasgow accent.
