Police Scotland is releasing images of a man officers believe may be able to assist with their enquiries following a serious assault that occurred in Sauchiehall Lane near Blythswood Street, Glasgow.
At 1.34 am on Saturday 25 August 2018, a man was assaulted by another man, who was unknown to him.
The victim was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to a head injury and later released.
Detectives are keen to speak to the man in the image as they believe he may have information that will assist with their ongoing investigation.
The first man is described as black, early to mid-20s, clean shaven, wearing a black beanie style hat, black jacket, blue t-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
Detective Constable Kevin Parkin from Stewart Street Police Office said, “A man has been left in a state of shock after being assaulted whilst on a night out.
“Sauchiehall Lane was busy with revellers at the time of the incident and I’m appealing for anyone who may have seen the man in the image, or knows who they are, to get in touch as it is vital that they are spoken to as part of the investigation.
