Published 08 November 2018

Police Scotland is appealing for information following an incident where a man behaved indecently towards a young woman at Inverness Retail Park.

The incident happened at the shopping park at Eastfield Way around 2.15pm on Wednesday, November 7.

The man was driving a blue Nissan Almera car and is described as being in his late 20s, Caucasian and of scruffy appearance . He was wearing a coloured woolly hat.

Inspector James Rice said: "The woman, in her 20s, who reported this incident was not approached or harmed in any way but obviously this was an unsettling and uncomfortable experience.

"Incidents like this are extremely rare and I would reassure people that we are taking this report very seriously.

"The retail park would have been reasonably busy at the time and we would like to speak to anyone who believes they saw a man matching this description in the area at the time.
