Man seriously assaulted in Larkhall

Detectives are continuing enquiries and appealing for information after a 35 year-old man was seriously assaulted in Larkhall on Friday 17 November 2017.

 

Around 1610 hours on Friday afternoon, the 35 year-old man was walking in Scotia Crescent in Larkhall when he was approached by three men who assaulted him.  The three men then ran off in the direction of Abbotsford Avenue.

 

The injured man was taken by ambulance to Wishaw General Hospital where he is being treated for lacerations to his head. 

 

The three men responsible are described as white, aged between 20-30 years of age.  One was around 6ft 2 inches in height and of slim build and bald.  Another of the suspects was around 5ft 8 inches in height and of medium build wearing a black skip cap.  All the men were wearing dark coloured clothing.

 

Detective Constable Davy MacFarlane based as Cambuslang Police Office said:

 

“Enquiries are being carried out in the local area and officers have been gathering CCTV footage to gather more information on this assault.   There would have been people in the local area on Friday afternoon around the time of the attack who may have seen these three man acting suspiciously.
