Drugs recovered in the Highlands

Police in the Highlands have recovered quantities of drugs in separate searches in the Inverness and Muir of Ord areas.Both recoveries were made on Thursday, November 9.
In Inverness, officers recovered quantities of heroin and crack cocaine valued at approximately £3,000 following an intelligence-led search.
Two men, aged 62 and 22-years-old, have been charged in connection with the recovery and are anticipated to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today (Friday, November 10).
In Muir of Ord, a quantity of heroin valued at £1,600 and a sum of cash was recovered following a search of a house in the Drovers Court area of the town.
A 57-year-old woman has been charged and will appear at Inverness Sheriff Court in due course.
Police Scotland relies on intelligence to achieve these recoveries and officers urge people to report any concerning or suspicious behaviour to police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.
