Drugs Recovery - Parkhead, Glasgow - Man Arrested

As part of an intelligence led operation on Friday 17 November 2017 in Fielden Street, Parkhead, Glasgow, officers searched a building and recovered a large quantity of Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of six hundred thousand pounds (£600,000).

A 45 year-old man was arrested and detained in police custody in connection with the recovery.

A full report was forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.

Detective Inspector Fergus Hutcheson of Greater Glasgow Division said:  

“This recovery clearly demonstrates our determination to crack down on drugs in our local communities throughout Glasgow.  

“We are always grateful for any information the public can give us, and would ask anyone with information about drug dealing in their local area to contact their local police office through 101.  Alternatively CRIMESTOPPERS can be contacted on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.”
