Theft in Thornhill

Officers in Thornhill are carrying out enquiries following the theft of a large amount of cash from a house in Smiddy Lane in the town. The theft happened sometime between 1845 hours on Thursday 30 November and 0730 hours on Friday 1 December 2017.

Constable Ian Harvey at Thornhill said "we are keen to hear about any suspicious activity in or around the area of Smiddy Lane on Thursday night or early Friday morning. The cash stolen is a considerable three figure sum. Anyone who can help should call us on the 101 number quoting reference number PDG0278751217."
