Police Scotland officers at Irvine are appealing for assistance from the public in tracing a vulnerable man who is missing from hospital in the Irvine area.
Gordon Wilson (47) was last seen around 0900 hours on Sunday 2 July within a ward in Woodland View Hospital, Kilwinning Road, Irvine. He left the hospital for a walk and did not return.
He described as 5ft 8 inches in height, of slim build, with thinning shoulder length greying hair. When last seen, he was wearing blue jeans and a blue jumper with a hood. He was also wearing grey trainers with white soles.
He did not have any of his medication with him when he left, and as time passes, police are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
