A Divisional Resource Advisor is a key advisor to Senior Management Teams across the Divisions, one of the key tasks is to ensure the effective and efficient deployment of resources, management of training, time banks and abstractions thereby reducing the need for unnecessary overtime.
To provide guidance and contribute to the development of policy and a consistent approach to the management of work schedules and resources across divisions / departments ensuring compliance with the Working Time Regulations 1998. In addition you will manage risk relating to resourcing issues and will manage forecasting options around minimising costs and maximising resource availability.
In the course of normal working, the jobholder is required to resolve problems or situations, generally by applying analytical and problem solving skills to the more difficult or challenging problems that arise. The jobholder will require mental skills for analysis of information or strategic planning. A good understanding of Microsoft Office, especially excel would be required.
