Project Griffin is an internationally acclaimed counter terrorism protective security initiative aimed at the business, retail and commercial communities. It aims to provide an understanding of the practical measures that can be taken to counteract terrorism and extremism in our communities.
Topics covered include:
- The Terrorist Threat
- Dealing with Bomb Threats/Suspicious Packages
- Hostile Reconnaissance
- Project Griffin trained employees are better prepared to recognise and respond appropriately to threats from extremists and civil emergencies as well as the everyday criminality that can affect businesses.
Project ARGUS is a National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) initiative, exploring ways to aid you in preventing, handling and recovering from a terrorist attack.
It achieves this by taking businesses through a realistic terrorist attack using a multi-media simulation. A series of questions and challenges are put to delegates, both individually and as a group.
Delegates will work in small syndicate groups with other local business representatives and develop responses to the attack.
ARGUS is a free event and lasts approximately three hours.
