Members of the media who wish to contact Police Scotland with an enquiry should direct calls to one of the following numbers during office hours.

Members of the public should call 101 to contact Police Scotland; in an emergency always call 999.

The corporate media team is responsible for matters relating to policy, strategy, national divisions and the Police Scotland command team and their national portfolios.

Out of hours contact from the media will be handled initially by control rooms. On-call communications officers are available through control rooms for dealing with urgent and critical issues.
