Martin LowAs interim director, Martin provides executive leadership for all aspects of ICT delivery in Police Scotland and within the SPA.

He has overall responsibility for and management of the functions of our ICT department, our IT systems and telecommunications infrastructure. Martin ensures the provision and availability of core services in line with agreed service levels and is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the organisation's ICT strategy.

Martin has been heavily involved in the development of the Police Scotland Digital, Data and ICT Strategy which seeks to transform Police Scotland’s IT capabilities and develop the national infrastructure expected of a 21st century police service operating in the digital age

A key member of the Police Scotland executive, Martin works closely with the Chief Constable and his team to ensure that the technological requirements of the organisation are understood and built into our financial, strategic planning work and change programmes.

Martin has worked for the police since January 2015 as Head of ICT Service Delivery and he has over 20 years experience in a variety of senior ICT roles within the public sector.
